**Basic Responsibilities:-

================

Assist in the implemention of safety or industrial health programs to prevent, correct, or control unsafe environmental conditions.
Promote safe work activities by assisting in safety audits, attending company safety meetings, and meeting with individual staff members.
Prepare reports based on the outcome of investigations of accidents, inspection of facilities or testing of environment.
Conducts area surveys to determine safety levels for exposure to materials and conditions.
Inspect existing facilities, machinery, and safety equipment to identify and correct potential hazards, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Conduct or coordinate training of workers concerning safety laws and regulations, use of safety equipment, devices, and clothing, to include first aid

· 1. -To ensure that accident investigations are conducted, when appropriate, in accordance with Company policies & procedures, under the direction of the Safety Department.
2.-To continuously provide specialist advice & education on safety matters to all project personnel.
3.-To promote a positive HSE attitude amongst project employees using an authorized scheme of incentives and deterrents.
4.-Confirms that all of the company’s subcontractors have a pre-approved safety manual that will be used and enforced for the duration of the subcontractors stay on site.
5-.Confirms that all site workers/personnel and/or subcontractors conduct weekly “tool-box” safety meetings and that the minutes of those meetings are submitted to the Site Safety Engineer for his review and records.
6-.Conducts multiple safety walks and inspections on a daily basis to assure compliance with the safety manual and to check for safety violations.
7-.Document and report all safety violations immediately to the appropriate subcontractor and to the company’s Site Manager for immediate resolution and penalty, when applicable.
8.-Confirms that all unsafe manual/power tools and other construction tools are tagged for immediate removal from the site.
9.-Confirms that all applicable OSHA regulations are complied with in all areas of construction.
10-.Confirms that all site construction gasses and chemicals are used and stored in accordance with applicable safety standards.

Collaborate with engineers to institute control and remedial measures for hazardous and potentially hazardous conditions of equipment
